A key behind the Cardinals' resurgent defense has been the greatly improved play of young LBs Daryl Washington on the inside and Sam Acho and O'Brien Schofield on the outside. But we hear the Cardinals are still likely to be counting on key roles from veteran LBs Paris Lenon and Clark Haggans on the inside and outside, respectively, in 2012. "Paris plays through injuries (only one missed game in his 10-year career) and is really smart, and he has had an unbelievable influence on Washington," said one team insider. "Clark has been solid starting, but the plan all along was to get his snap count down and start rotating him with Schofield. Neither of them commands much money, and Whiz (head coach Ken Whisenhunt) really likes to have a veteran presence at each position group. They could decide to start Stewart Bradley over Lenon next season, but I think both Lenon and Haggans will be back.
