Here's a look at a key matchup heading into Sunday's battle between the Bears and Packers.
Bears DEs Julius Peppers and Israel Idonije vs. Packers OTs Marshall Newhouse and T.J. Lang
The Chiefs gave the rest of the league a blueprint for how to attack the Packers in Week 15, and the plan calls for pressuring QB Aaron Rodgers over and over again.
Kansas City was credited with five QB hits in its upset of Green Bay. OLB Tamba Hali was a consistent presence in the backfield, recording three of the Chiefs' four sacks. He repeatedly beat Newhouse, the Packers' starting left tackle, who will be charged with blocking another of the league's top pass rushers Sunday night. Peppers, who has 10 sacks this season, has the power, quickness and agility to dominate.
On the right side of the Packers' offensive line, Lang will get the call at tackle if Bryan Bulaga (right knee) is unable to go, and it appears Bulaga is doubtful as of this writing. Lang, who typically plays left guard, is a tough competitor. It will be a matchup of power vs. power when he lines up across from Idonije.
