The Texans will once again be without WR Andre Johnson this week, as the receiver has been ruled out of the Thursday night matchup with the Colts because of a strained left hamstring.

Johnson, who missed six games early in the season because of a right hamstring issue that required surgery, will miss his third consecutive game because of the left hamstring injury.

Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said that the receiver is "very close" to returning to practice, but felt with the short week and the AFC South already clinched, it was not worth it to rush Johnson back to the field.
