The Bills promoted TE Kevin Brock to the 53-man roster and placed rookie TE Lee Smith on injured reserve.

Brock was signed to the team's practice squad on Dec. 14. He entered the NFL in 2009.

Smith, a draft pick by the Patriots last April, had four catches for 11 yards this season. He played in 10 games with three starts.
