Packers QB Aaron Rodgers threw his 40th touchdown of the season in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Chiefs, passing Brett Favre for most passing touchdowns in a season by a Packer.

Rodgers hit veteran WR Donald Driver for a two-yard score to give the Packers a 7-6 lead.

Favre threw 39 touchdowns in 1996. Rodgers trails Kurt Warner by one passing score for the fifth-most passing touchdowns in a season all-time.
