Here are some of the Packers' fantasy football options this week:
The Packers were being precautionary with RB James Starks (ankle) as they prepare for the playoffs and he has yet to practice this week, appearing unlikely to play. Watch for updates.
RB Ryan Grant took advantage of Starks not playing last week and produced 10-85-2 rushing and 1-13-0 receiving. He might be asked to carry the load again this week, as the team might hold Starks out until the playoffs. Also, Brandon Saine (concussion) has yet to practice this week.
WR Greg Jennings has a knee sprain and is out for the rest of the fantasy season for most owners. James Jones could step in alongside Jordy Nelson, but in the Packers' offense, they'll use multiple sets, giving Jones legitimate fantasy value without Jennings.
WR Donald Driver had another solid outing and with Jennings out, Driver could see more playing time, giving him great value and making him a short-term waiver-wire pickup.
A fantasy sleeper could be rookie Randall Cobb, who our sources tell us is the best-equipped to work the slot area that Jennings normally capitalizes on with such great success. Word is specially designed packages are being developed for Cobb and he could be a major force this Sunday.
