Browns QB Colt McCoy won't play Sunday at Arizona because of a concussion suffered in the Week 14 loss at Pittsburgh. The Browns' starting quarterback was one of four players ruled out by the club on Friday.

In addition to McCoy, FB Owen Marecic (concussion) and SS T.J. Ward (foot) are out. Also, the club placed TE Benjamin Watson on injured reserve and signed FB Eddie Wiliams from the practice squad to replace him.

Seneca Wallace will get the start in place of McCoy on Sunday. Last season, Wallace made four starts for Cleveland, completing 64-of-101 passes for 694 yards with four TDs and two interceptions. He has appeared in three games this season, all in a relief role.

Watson caught 37 passes for 410 yards and two TDs in 13 games in 2011 (11 starts). He has suffered three concussions since training camp.

The way we see it

McCoy had been expected to miss the game, as he has not practiced all week. Wallace is well-versed in the West Coast offense and was serviceable in his starts a season ago.

With Watson out, Evan Moore figures to be the Browns' top receiving threat at tight end.
