The NFL announced the winners of AFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 14 on Wednesday. Honored were Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski, Ravens OLB Terrell Suggs and Broncos PK Matt Prater.

Gronkowski had a monster game in New England's 34-27 victory over Washington with six catches for a career-high 160 receiving yards (26.7 average) and two touchdowns. He grabbed his 14th touchdown reception, the most ever by a tight end in a season, on an 11-yard TD pass from in the first quarter, then added his 15th TD reception on a 37-yard score.

This is Gronkowski's first career Offensive Player of the Week Award. He is the first NFL tight end to win Offensive Player of the Week since Dallas Clark in Week Nine of the 2009 season. Gronkowski joins Marv Cook (Week Four, 1991) and Daniel Graham (Week Eight, 2003) as the only Patriots tight ends to win the award.
Suggs was a one-man wrecking crew in the Ravens' 24-10 win over the Colts with five tackles, three sacks and three forced fumbles. His three forced fumbles are the most in a single game by a Raven. He now has six forced fumbles this season. It was his third game of the season with three sacks.

This is Suggs' fifth career Defensive Player of the Week Award. He most recently won the award in Week 12.

Prater drilled two field goals (59, 51) and one point-after try in the Broncos' 13-10 overtime win over the Bears.  The 59-yarder (tied for career-long) came with three seconds remaining in the game and forced overtime. The 51-yard game-winning field goal in OT extended Denver's win streak to six games.

This is Prater's third career Special Teams Player of the Week Award. He most recently won the award in 2009 (Week 12).
