The Patriots' offensive, defensive and special-teams players of the week from their Week 14 win over the Redskins.

Offense: TE Rob Gronkowski

Who else? Gronk dominated early on. He had a 49-yard catch and run, shedding multiple blockers in the first quarter that set up his record-setting 11-yard touchdown catch, his 14th TD reception of the season, the most for a tight end. In the second quarter, Gronkowski made an over-the-shoulder catch with Ryan Kerrigan draped all over him and rumbled 37 yards for the score. Gronkowski added a 50-yard catch as well, finishing 6-160-2 on the day.

Defense: DT Vince Wilfork

It was far from a banner day for the defense, again, but DT Vince Wilfork had another good game getting penetration up the gut and taking up multiple blockers. Wilfork also had the big fumble recovery in the endzone for a touchdown off Andre Carter's strip sack. Wilfork added a tackle for loss among his four tackles. Honorable mentions go to Carter, who had three QB hits, and Jerod Mayo, who had the game-clinching interception.

Special teams: P Zoltan Mesko

Mesko only had three punts but did not allow any return yards to the dangerous Brandon Banks. He boomed a 61-yarder into the endzone and had another punt downed by WR Matthew Slater on the four-yard line.
