After notching 9½ sacks as a rookie and impressing with his potential, Bengals DE Carlos Dunlap's second season has been marked by injuries — and, as a consequence, less production. A hamstring injury occurred in the Bengals' Nov. 6 win at Tennessee, when Dunlap notched two of his three sacks on the season. The 22-year-old Dunlap has missed three of the last four games because of the injury. Dunlap's upside is evident, and his pass-rush production has been very good in his brief NFL career, but he has missed time with injuries in each of his first two seasons in Cincinnati. Of note: A knee injury hampered Dunlap this summer, and he didn't play in the preseason. There was some thought that Dunlap would push for a starting role this season, but Robert Geathers continues to be the starter at left end. Geathers isn't the pass-rush threat Dunlap is, but he's experienced and well-rounded.
