The Cowboys have signed S Gerald Sensabaugh to a five-year extension, the team announced Friday.
Sensabaugh, originally a fifth-round pick by the Jaguars in 2005, has spent the past three seasons with the Cowboys. On the season, he has 60 tackles, two interceptions and two forced fumbles.
The Cowboys also shuffled their active roster, placing RB Phillip Tanner on injured reserve with a hamstring injury and promoting WR Andre Holmes from the practice squad to the active roster.
In his rookie season, Tanner has 22 carries for 76 yards and one touchdown. Holmes, a rookie free agent from Hillsdale (Mich.), was signed to the practice squad before the regular season started.
