Here are the Browns' players of the week on offense, defense and special teams from the 14-3 loss to Pittsburgh on Thursday night:
Offense: TE Evan Moore
His 33-yard first-quarter reception was a personal season-long and helped set up the Browns' only points of the game, a 20-yard Phil Dawson field goal. Moore has been targeted more in the passing game in the past two weeks and has responded well. He caught four passes for a season-best 55 yards on Thursday and has the Browns' only touchdown in the last two games (a 22-yard reception vs. Baltimore in Week 13).
Defense: S Mike Adams
Adams intercepted Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger in the fourth quarter and returned it 29 yards, putting Cleveland, down 7-3, on its 44-yard line with 7:10 left in the game. Adams leads the Browns with three interceptions and is the only Cleveland player with more than one pick this season.
Special teams: P Brad Maynard
Maynard had a very good game. Four of his six punts were downed inside the Pittsburgh 20, and the Steelers' dangerous punt returner, Antonio Brown, had zero return yards. Three of Maynard's punts went out of bounds. Two were downed. The other — a 33-yarder from deep in Cleveland's end — was fair caught. This was a nice bounce-back performance for Maynard after he struggled somewhat in the loss to Baltimore.
