Here's a recap of notable contributions from Browns rookies in Cleveland's 24-10 loss to Baltimore on Sunday:

DE Jabaal Sheard — He notched a season-best nine tackles (six solo) against the Ravens, and his sack of Ravens QB Joe Flacco forced a fumble that was recovered by teammate Jayme Mitchell, helping lead to Cleveland's first points of the game. In 12 games, he's recorded 44 tackles, 5½ sacks and five forced fumbles.

WR Greg Little — Little has had moments where he has looked capable of being an NFL starter, but at other times he has looked overmatched. He dropped two more passes on Sunday, giving him six drops in the last two games. Targeted seven times against Baltimore, Little had just three catches for 18 yards. As we've noted before, he has had a lot of opportunities in this offense, and he hasn't always made the most of them.

DT Phil Taylor — He was credited with six tackles (five assists) in the loss to Baltimore. Defensive coordinator Dick Jauron, speaking to the Cleveland media on Tuesday, said it's "probably fair to say" that Taylor, the club's first-round pick, hasn't been as consistent as the Browns would have liked at times. Said Jauron: He's definitely flashed at times, really flashed at times. Other times, he's not getting it done the way you would absolutely like it. Is that true of everybody? Yeah, it is.

"For a rookie, he's got so much to learn and so much to learn about playing inside. Again, Jabaal (Sheard) is a rookie, too. It's never easy anywhere, but it's a little easier on the edge. You're looking in at everything. Inside, they can come at you so many different ways. They can trap you, they can double-team you and they can wham you. They're so many things they can do to you.

"We're asking him to learn all those things fast and to play at a really top speed. I'm confident that he's going to keep developing. When he flashes, he really flashes. It really stands out."

OLG Jason Pinkston — Started his 12th consecutive game at left guard. The Browns ran off left guard six times, with three rushes going for seven yards or more. Pinkston was penalized for illegal use of hands late in the third quarter, pushing Cleveland back 10 yards.

LS Christian Yount — Appeared as the Browns' short- and long-snapper for the first time after replacing veteran Ryan Pontbriand, who was let go last week.

FB Owen Marecic — Played as a reserve but did not record any statistics.

CB Buster Skrine — Played as a reserve but did not record any statistics.

LB Quinton Spears — Missed his second consecutive game with a hamstring injury.

DT Kiante Tripp — The rookie from Georgia played as a reserve and notched his first career tackle, assisting on a first-quarter stop of Ravens RB Ricky Williams.

CB James Dockery — Played as a reserve and assisted on a special-teams tackle.

OLB Benjamin Jacobs — Played as a reserve but did not record any statistics. This was his first game since being signed from the Browns' practice squad.

TE Jordan Cameron — Inactive.
