Lions DT Ndamukong Suh, who is suspended for the team's Week 13 game against the Saints, was involved in a car accident this morning in his hometown of Portland, Ore.

The reigning Defensive Rookie of the Year lost control of his car and hit a light pole, a drinking fountain and then a tree early Saturday morning. First reported by Jason Quick of the Oregonian, the accident resulted in no injury to Suh or the two passengers in the vehicle, which skidded on ice that was covering the street.

Suh cooperated with the police officers who reported to the scene at approximately 1:15 a.m. Saturday.
