The Vikings have avoided a television blackout for Week 13 by selling 3,000 tickets this week.
Facing Tim Tebow and the Broncos, the team was able to unload their remaining tickets to continue their sellout streak. They have sold out the Metrodome for 142 consecutive games — including regular season, preseason and playoffs — dating back to the start of the 1998 season.
Minnesota had about 5,800 tickets available for the game last week and nearly 3,000 when this week began, but were able to sell them in time to avoid being taken off television. The game kicks off on Sunday, Dec. 4 at 1:00 p.m. ET on FOX.
