Bears DE Julius Peppers was honored as NFC Defensive Player of the Month after tallying six tackles, four sacks, one tackle for loss, 10 QB pressures and three passes batted down in November.

Peppers' four sacks were tied for most in the NFC and his 33 sack yards were tops in the conference. His three batted passes were tied for the most among NFC defensive linemen during the month.

His effort during the month helped the Bears' defense finish first in opposing passer rating (62.9) and third in the NFC and fifth in the NFL in rushing defense (81.0 yards per game).

He also was named NFC Defensive Player of the Month last November. He is the first Bears player to win NFC Defensive Player of the Month multiple times since the award first started in 1986.
