Without Adrian Peterson, it will be difficult for the Vikings to pull an upset against a talented Falcons team. The Falcons already feature a strong rushing defense, and with backup Toby Gerhart leading the attack, it should be difficult for the Vikings to establish anything positive on the ground.

On defense, with the secondary in flux, a talented passing game led by a hot Matt Ryan throwing to a capable group of weapons (Roddy White, Julio Jones and Tony Gonzalez) should be able to put points on the board.

It's hard to imagine that the Falcons, playing for a spot in the playoffs, will lose at home to the struggling Vikings.

Prediction: Falcons, 28, Vikings, 10

Season Record 4-3
