PFW executive editor and resident Packers expert Dan Arkush selects Green Bay's players of the week on offense, defense and special teams in the team's 25-17 Week 12 victory over the Lions.

Offense: QB Aaron Rodgers

Rodgers was off a bit in the first half, but caught fire in his customary fashion in the second half (13-of-17 passing with a 137.5 QB rating in the final 30 minutes). For the day, He completed 22-of-33 passes, targeting 11 different players for 307 yards and a pair of TDs with zero interceptions (116.6 passer rating). Rodgers has thrown at least two TD passes in every game this season.

Defense: CB Tramon Williams

Williams gets the award for the second straight week for the terrific job he did defending Lions star WR Calvin Johnson, who was a nonfactor despite a TD in the closing moments that only meant something to his fantasy owners. Johnson was limited to only four catches for 49 yards. Williams would have had an amazing day had he been able to hold on to two interceptions, one of which would have probably been returned for a TD.

Special teams: P Tim Masthay

Four of Masthay's five punts landed inside the 20-yard line. He had a long punt of 55 (37.8-yard net average) and limited Lions PR Stefan Logan to minus-two yards. Jarrett Bush deserves honorable mention for his three special-teams tackles.
