Here are some of the Vikings' fantasy football options this week:

QB Christian Ponder (knee) was limited in practice this week, but the injury is not serious. He has a solid matchup against a Falcons defense that is middle-of-the-road against opposing QBs, giving Ponder a chance to help his WRs out, but is still a bench play.

It has been a tough week for owners of RB Adrian Peterson, who is dealing with a high ankle sprain and he is listed as doubtful for Sunday. If you can still trade in your league, he's a great buy-low candidate who can bring you a championship when he returns from injury. Toby Gerhart will see most of the carries while he's out.

Gerhart hasn't shown starter ability on an NFL level. Only two of his 105 career carries have gone for more than 20 yards and he has a fumbling habit last season with three lost on only 102 touches. He did average 4.1 yards per carry in two games with more than 15 touches last season but is a bench against the Falcons this week.

WR Percy Harvin had his best game of the year with 94 yards from scrimmage and a TD. Ponder's growth continues to benefit Harvin and he now has a three-game average of 11 utilizations for 80.3 yards from scrimmage and 0.7 and is quietly posting No. 1 fantasy receiver points.

TE Visanthe Shiancoe (hamstring) hasn't practiced this week and rookie Kyle Rudolph (quadriceps) hasn't either. That means we could see more of veteran, Jim Kleinsasser, but he has no value.
