PFW executive editor and resident Packers expert Dan Arkush offers his weekly report on the Packers' 2011 rookie class.

Second-round WR-RS Randall Cobb was once again the only rookie contributor of note in the Packers' victory over Tampa Bay last Sunday. Six days after opening the scoring in Green Bay's one-sided Monday-night victory over Minnesota with an electrifying 80-yard punt return for a TD, Cobb again almost went the distance on a very similar-looking punt against the Bucs but was stopped short of the goal line after rumbling 55 yards. He had two punt returns for 69 yards to go with a fair catch, three kickoff returns for 51 yards with a long of 22 (on which he lost his footing) and one catch for 11 yards.

Sixth-round ILB D.J. Smith (one special-teams assist) just managed to avoid disaster on a failed onside-kick attempt by the Bucs. Seventh-round TE Ryan Taylor was penalized for an illegal block and had two of the special teams' seven missed tackles against the Bucs. Undrafted rookie S M.D. Jennings had aR tackle and an assist on special teams. Undrafted RB Brandon Saine had one special-teams tackle. Undrafted rookie OLB Vic So'oto saw his first action on defense in more than a mop-up situation, subbing for Erik Walden for a couple of plays. Fifth-round TE D.J. Williams was inactive for the first time this season.
