The Jaguars signed LB Kevin Bentley on Tuesday after placing LB Clint Session on injured reserve.
Session started six games for Jacksonville this season and made 30 tackles. He suffered a concussion earlier in the year and re-aggravated the head injury in the Week 11 loss to the Browns. Team doctors felt it wasn't worth it for his long-term health to return to the field this season.
Bentley has previously played with the Browns, Seahawks and Texans since being drafted out of Northwestern in 2002. His best season came in '03, when he registered 96 tackles for Cleveland.
