PFW executive editor and resident Packers expert Dan Arkush selects Green Bay's players of the week on offense, defense and special teams in the team's 35-26 Week 11 victory over the Buccaneers.
Offense: WR Jordy Nelson
Nelson caught six of the seven passes thrown to him by Aaron Rodgers for a team-leading 123 yards (20.5 yards per catch) and a pair of touchdowns. His 40-yard TD catch over Tampa Bay's Myron Lewis on 3rd-and-4 with 2:55 remaining finally put the feisty Buccaneers away for the day.
Defense: CB Tramon Williams
Williams' two interceptions (four in the past three games) were important takeaways on an afternoon in which the defense reverted to its leaky ways (455 yards allowed). Williams also tied LB Desmond Bishop with a team-leading nine tackles.
Special teams: P Tim Masthay
Doing his best Dave Casper imitation, Masthay picked up a key first down on a fake punt to the Packers' 27 despite treating the pigskin like a greased pig, bobbling it out of bounds. His ugly but resilient effort helped set up the Packers' first score of the game. Masthay also had three punts averaging 54.3 yards with a long of 63, including one punt inside the 20-yard line.
