What follows are some noteworthy quotes from Packers players and coaches worth pondering in advance of Green Bay's Week 11 game vs. Tampa Bay at Lambeau Field.

Packers LOLB Clay Matthews on the creative blitz packages defensive coordinator Dom Capers featured in the Packers' Monday-night rout of the Vikings: "He knows what he's doing. He knows what mismatches to create. He does that with linemen, linebackers, DBs, it's about winning those opportunities. Brilliant game plan and we were able to execute." (Source: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel).

Packers CB Charles Woodson on the defense heading in the right direction after its latest performance vs. Minnesota: "It's up to us. Now, the standard has been set. Here on out, the rest of this season, we need to put forth the same effort we did (vs. Minnesota). Play aggressive football, make plays and dominate, and I think we're capable of doing that." (Source: Packers.com).

Packers OLT Chad Clifton on his progress recovering from a significant hamstring injury suffered Oct. 9 at Atlanta: "We definitely don't think I'm done for the year. Things are progressing nicely. It feels a million times better even than it did the week before the bye, so that's encouraging. It is what it is. It's going to be something I can come back from. I'm not going to put a timeline on it. I'm just going to say I'm coming back as soon as possible." (Source: ESPNMilwaukee.com).

Packers special-teams coordinator Shawn Slocum on rookie Randall Cobb's tendency to fumble kick returns: "We're going to remove that from his game. He's in charge of that. He has to get that done. (Against Minnesota), he made a big play and he was anxious to do it again. He lost sight of one of the core fundamentals — making sure that ball is caught before you take off." (Source: Green Bay Press Gazette).

Packers WR Donald Driver on QB Aaron Rodgers' selectiveness: "He's not going to take a shot that some quarterbacks will take. He feels like he wants to keep his interception rating low. If he does throw the ball up, he trusts his receivers to make the play." (Source: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel).
