Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald, Saints S Roman Harper and Bears PR Devin Hester were named NFC Players of the Week for Week 10.
Fitzgerald keyed the Cardinals' upset victory over the Eagles, catching seven passes for 146 yards and two touchdowns. He also had the key reception on Arizona's game-winning drive, catching a 37-yard pass to set up the go-ahead touchdown. This is the first time Fitzgerald has been named NFC player of the week.
Harper had 13 tackles with two for loss, one sack and one pass defensed in the Saints' overtime win over the Falcons. His pass defensed late in the fourth quarter prevented the Falcons from scoring a go-ahead touchdown and later forced them to kick a game-tying field goal. This is Harper's second career player of the week honor, both of them coming this season.
Hester returned a punt 82 yards for a touchdown in the Bears' 37-13 thrashing of the division-rival Lions. On the day, Hester had three punt returns for 122 yards for a whopping 40.7 average. It was his 12th career punt-return touchdown and 17th career kick-return touchdown.
