The Patriots' offensive, defensive and special-teams players of the week from their Week 10 win over the Jets.

Offense: QB Tom Brady

After three consecutive weeks in which Brady looked off, he was on-point in Sunday's win, again proving his ability to have strong performances under the national spotlight. Brady completed 26-of-39 passes for 329 yards and three touchdowns against one of the league's stiffest pass defenses. His footwork in the pocket was on display, as he wasn't sacked once. The beneficiary of his elevated play was TE Rob Gronkowski, who deserves honorable mention for this honor, as he finished with eight catches for 113 yards and two TDs.

Defense: DE Andre Carter

With all the talk about the bust that WR Chad Ochocinco is and the bust DT Albert Haynesworth was, people forget how much Carter, another free-agent acquisition, has accomplished in New England. Carter had 4½ sacks in the win and eight QB hits. His sack total was a franchise record for a single game. Carter has nine sacks on the season, which would have led the team by 3½ last season. Honorable mention goes to OLB Rob Ninkovich, who had two interceptions, returning one for a score.

Special teams: PK Stephen Gostkowski

Gostkowski had struggled of late, but he was a perfect 3-for-3 on field goals on Sunday night, including a 50-yarder. He had two touchbacks and his kickoffs kept Jets KR Joe McKnight from any big returns. The coverage teams were very good as well, including WR Matthew Slater who had two special-teams tackles.
