The Bengals will be without CB Leon Hall for the season after he tore his Achilles in Sunday's loss to the Steelers.
The Bengals placed him on injured reserved Monday and promoted CB Brandon Ghee from the practice squad. Hall, a fifth-year veteran, signed a $39 million contract extension in September.
Hall made 30 tackles, four passes defensed and an interception in eight starts this season. He hasn't missed a game in his career and had started every game in each of the last three seasons.
Hall has 19 career interceptions and was a big reason the Bengals have been one of the league's biggest surprises thanks to an impressive defense.
Ghee, the Bengals third-round pick in 2010, played in six games as a rookie last season, primarily on special teams.
