Has Eagles' Jackson lost focus?

Part of what made the Eagles so dangerous last season was the fact that even if it was only once or twice a game, they could find DeSean Jackson on a deep route to loosen up the opposing defense and dictate what coverages they were going to run. The Eagles even popped the top off cover-2 defenses because of Jackson's rare speed, which is very tough to do. But this season, Jackson has been rendered ineffective mostly, with no catch longer than 31 yards in the past four games and only 93 yards receiving in the past three contests. Observers wonder whether Jackson is fully focused. He campaigned openly for a new contract by staging a preseason holdout and then watched as the Eagles spent freely — on everyone else but him — in free agency. Jackson is a talented player, but team sources have said that he allows his emotions to get the best of him at times and isn't always focused on the tasks at hand. It's fair to wonder if that is happening now.
