The word "ugly" now can be used to describe what is happening both on and off the field with the Colts. On the heels of Indianapolis Star columnist Bob Kravitz's scathing column on Colts GM Chris Polian and vice chairman Bill Polian's emotionally charged response defending his son, owner Jim Irsay, as he often has over the years, was forced to play the role of peacemaker. Irsay took to his Twitter account, sharing his disapproval for Kravitz's journalism tactics, as well as Bill Polian's lack of professionalism in responding to Kravitz's column. Our sources indicate that there was a lot of truth in what Kravitz wrote: Chris Polian has been a very polarizing figure who has steered the ship on a number of curious front-office decisions of late. We are also hearing that while Irsay recently gave the Polians a vote of confidence amid a disastrous season, things can quickly change.
