Chiefs' O-line struggling at the wrong time

As the Chiefs enter the toughest stretch of their season with five consecutive games against 2010 playoff teams in Weeks 11-15, QB Matt Cassel cannot be pleased with the way his offensive line is playing. Cassel was sacked five times against the Dolphins in Week Nine and had nine rushing attempts because he was scrambling so often. According to a team insider, the main problem is with ORT Barry Richardson. Though stats show he has allowed only 1½ sacks this season, Richardson is seen as a weak link on the line, especially since the man playing next to him, ORG Jon Asamoah, is a first-year starter. If the problems are not corrected quickly, expect the Chiefs to run more max-protect schemes. FB Le'Ron McClain, who is a strong blocker and also has the ability to catch passes if a play breaks down, could see more snaps if Cassel continues to be pressured.
