The Redskins signed free-agent OL Tyler Polumbus to the 53-man roster and added TE Fendi Onobun and CB Brandyn Thompson to the practice squad.
Polumbus spent one season in Denver with current Redskins coach Mike Shanahan, as well as 2009 with the Broncos. The Seahawks cut him earlier this month after spending 2010 and part of 2011 in Seattle. In his career, he's made 15 starts in 51 games.
Onobun, a sixth-round draft pick of the Rams in 2010, has two career receptions. Thompson, a 2011 seventh-round pick, has moved back and forth between the Redskins' practice squad and active roster all season, getting cut three times from the active roster and always ending back on the practice squad.
