The news that Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw cracked a bone in his foot only worsened a shaky situation. The Giants have not run the ball well at all this season, and Bradshaw's would-be replacement, Brandon Jacobs, is in a valley in his up-and-down relationship with the team following comments that he likely will end up playing elsewhere in 2012. On top of that, Jacobs has not run at full form this season, and the offensive line and tight ends have not run-blocked exceptionally, either. But the news might not be entirely bad. Some reports have said that surgery might not be needed for Bradshaw and that he could opt to play through the injury. Depending on what his pain threshold is, Bradshaw might be able to run and not have the injury worsen or harm his running style. His value also comes in his ability to pick up blitzes and catch passes, so it might be deemed worth the risk.
