The Ravens' pass rush, already a strength, has been even more productive and formidable recently with reserve OLB Paul Kruger showing an ability to sack opposing quarterbacks like he never has before in his NFL career. A 2009 second-round pick, Kruger had only one sack in his first 25 games, but he recorded three in a two-game stretch in Weeks Seven and Eight. The 6-4, 265-pound Kruger showed good quickness and used his hands well on sacks vs. Jacksonville and Arizona. One of the sacks came on a four-man rush, while the others came as the Ravens blitzed; each time, Kruger rushed off the left side. Said head coach John Harbaugh leading up to Week Nine, according to the club: "Paul is much improved. He has added a couple of moves into his pass-rush repertoire, and he has been quick and explosive. I think he is a dangerous pass rusher right now." Kruger's emergence only adds to the array of pass-rush concerns for opposing offenses.
