With injuries and poor play hurting their secondary, the Dolphins signed CB Jonathan Wade and released S Gerald Alexander on Tuesday. WR Marlon Moore was also placed on injured reserve by the team.

Wade has been in the NFL since 2007, playing with the Rams, Lions and Bengals. He started three games for Cincinnati last season, recording 14 tackles and two passes defensed.

Alexander, who was signed by the Dolphins on Oct. 19, did not record any stats in two games with the club.

Moore hurt his foot in the team's Week Eight loss to the Giants. He played in six games, mostly on special teams, and he did not have any receptions.
