Move over, Vernon Davis. It would appear the Niners' TE position has become a double-edged sword, with fellow TE Delanie Walker also slashing opposing defenses to pieces from all over the field. "He's the perfect (head coach Jim) Harbaugh player," one daily team observer said of Walker, who has emerged as a key weapon in clutch situations. "He's got the power and nastiness to effectively take on Ndamukong Suh in a blocking situation, and he's also got the speed and athleticism to make a 30-yard catch downfield. He's great in the slot because you don't know what he's going to do. He's a definite X-factor." Harbaugh agrees. "He's a sharp football guy that really studies and takes pride in that part of his game," the Niners' head coach said. "Delanie's top-shelf when it comes to that. He has been since the day we started training camp. So, it's huge, it's big."
