Vikings DE Brian Robison was told by the NFL on Wednesday that he has been fined $20,000 for kicking Packers OL T.J. Lang in the groin during the Packers' 33-27 victory over the Vikings at the Metrodome in Week Seven.

Robison, who has apologized to the Vikings' organization, the NFL and Lang for his unsportsmanlike conduct, admitted he got caught up in the heat of the battle against his team's hated NFC North rival. He was knocked to the turf by Lang during a Packers field-goal attempt in the second quarter and, while lying on his back, kicked his foot into Lang's groin.

Lang has accepted Robison's apology. The two teams next play on Monday, Nov. 14 at Lambeau Field.
