Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski apologized for appearing in a photo with an adult film performer during the bye week.

The performer posted two photos with Gronkowski on her Twitter page, wearing Gronkowski's Patriots jersey. Gronkowski met with owner Robert Kraft Wednesday to discuss the incident.

"I didn't intend anything to hurt the reputation of anyone on the New England Patriots or on behalf of Robert Kraft," Gronkowski said via the AP. "It was just a simple picture and that's all."

In his second season with New England, Gronkowski has 401 yards and five touchdowns.
