Week Seven saw the Vikings play seven rookies, the most that have played so far this season. Here's how they performed agains the Packers.

QB Christian Ponder — It was his first start, and considering it was against the defending world champions, Ponder held up pretty well. The numbers weren't great (40 percent completion rate and two interceptions), but in his case they are a little deceiving. He was able to move the offense well and bounced back from the interceptions he threw on back-to-back drives in the third quarter to lead a touchdown drive in the middle of the fourth to bring the Vikings within one score. The future began on Sunday, and as of now, it's bright.

TE Kyle Rudolph — His disappearing act from the offense continues, as he was targeted only once and didn't make a catch. It seemed at one point this season that he might challenge Visanthe Shiancoe for touches, but he has only two catches in the past three games.

C-OG Brandon Fusco — Fusco got his first game action of the season, replacing ORG Anthony Herrera when Herrera left the game with a knee injury. He made no glaring mistakes and could see time at right guard next week if Herrera doesn't play.

DL Christian Ballard — Ballard continues to be a part of the defensive line rotation but recorded no stats against Green Bay.

LB Larry Dean, CB Brandon Burton and S Mistral Raymond all played on special teams, though they didn't record any official stats.
