Vikings ORG Anthony Herrera has suffered a torn PCL in his left knee, according to a report in the Pioneer Press.

The injury could sideline him for two weeks.

Herrera left Sunday's loss to the Packers in the second quarter, but tried to come back before having to leave the game for good in the second half. Herrera has been with the Vikings since he entered the league in 2004, starting 65 games in that span, including all seven this season.

The way we see it

This is a tough blow for the Vikings who have been searching for consistency along the line all season. Herrera had been playing well, especially run blocking for Adrian Peterson.

Head coach Leslie Frazier said at his press conference Monday that he would seek a second opinion on exactly what is wrong with Herrera's knee, as initial thoughts believed it could have been an ACL injury.

If Herrera has to miss time, his replacement would be either Joe Berger, who played well while starting at center against the Packers, or rookie Brandon Fusco.
