There is no question the Titans must run the football significantly better the rest of the season to contend for an AFC South title. But they need to catch it better, too, the way we hear it. Offensive coordinator Chris Palmer laid into second-year WR Damian Williams following his team's Week Five loss to Pittsburgh, saying Williams did not hustle on a deep pattern. Williams is second on the team in TD catches (two), but word is he and teammate Lavelle Hawkins have not risen to the occasion in the absence of No. 1 WR Kenny Britt. Tennessee signed former Rams speedster Donnie Avery last month, and we hear he will have his opportunities as the season progresses. But the onus falls more on Williams and Hawkins, both of whom know the offense better than Avery and have the tools to be successful if they can find more consistency.
