With PK Sebastian Janikowski nursing a sore hamstring, the Raiders have signed Dave Rayner to handle their kicking duties in Week Seven vs. the Chiefs.
Janikowski, who has made 12-of-13 field-goal attempts this season, including an NFL-record-tying 63-yarder in Week One, suffered the injury last week. Oakland has a bye following the game against Kansas City.
Rayner, who previously had kicked for the Colts, Packers, Chiefs, Chargers, Bengals and Lions, has made more than 73 percent of his field-goal attempts in his career. He was in Detroit's training camp this summer but lost out on the job to veteran Jason Hanson.
