Vikings fantasy report: Week Seven

Here are some of the Vikings' fantasy football options this week:

QB Christian Ponder will start for the rest of the season. However, outside of dynasty leagues, he has no fantasy value. In larger leagues, he should be on your watch-list.

Vikings RB Adrian Peterson (12-39-1 last week) had his worst game of the season and while elite, he has broken 100 yards only twice this season. The team will lean on him now that Ponder's starting.

WR Percy Harvin (7-78-0 with nine targets) finally had a solid game. In four games against the Packers, he has averaged 10 utilizations for 65 offensive yards and 0.5 TDs. He's a No. 3 fantasy WR with upside.

WR Bernard Berrian (5-54-0 with seven targets) showed signs of life and he might have a little upside with Ponder under center, but he's still not worth a roster spot.

TE Visanthe Shiancoe (5-45-0 with seven targets) had a solid game with Ponder throwing to him and the rookie might look his way as a safety valve. Shiancoe remains a waiver-wire player, but he's worth watch-listing.
