Jay Glazer of Fox reported Friday morning that Packers ILB A.J. Hawk has been fined $10,000 for flipping the bird in Green Bay's Week Six victory over the Rams last Sunday. After making a sack, Hawk flipped the bird at the Packers' bench. In an apology after the game, Hawk claimed that the gesture, which quickly was shown all over the Internet, was an inside joke, but he did not reveal what the joke was about or any specific players to which the gesture was directed.

In addition, fellow LB Clay Matthews reportedly was fined $5,000 for wearing yellow shoes in the Rams game, which were not the standard garb for the team's 1929 throwback uniforms. CB Tramon Williams also wore the yellow shoes and is believed to have been fined as well.
