Pro Football Weekly senior editor Eric Edholm took first place in the Professional Football Writers of America's annual Dick Connor Writing Awards for news, covering the period from post-Super Bowl 2010 through the 2011 Super Bowl.
Edholm's story, titled "One displaced fan's Super Bowl nightmare" gave a first-person account of one of the 1,200 Super Bowl ticket holders who were displaced from their seats at Cowboys Stadium for Super Bowl XLV.
