Here's a matchup to watch in Sunday's Browns-Seahawks game:

Seahawks' run defense vs. Browns' running game

The Seahawks are solid vs. the run. Seattle is allowing the fewest yards per carry (3.13 yards) in the league and the seventh-fewest rushing yards per game (97.8) in the NFL.

Keep an eye on the right side of the Seahawks' front four. DRE Red Bryant and DRT Brandon Mebane are stout run defenders. The Browns have run 19 times off left tackle this season, averaging 5.11 yards per carry, sixth-best in the NFL, according to league statistics.

It's unclear whether Browns RB Peyton Hillis (hamstring) will play on Sunday. If he doesn't play, RB Montario Hardesty will start. The Browns signed RB Chris Ogbonnaya off the Texans' practice squad on Tuesday and released rookie Armond Smith. Ogbonnaya is more likely to get some carries if Hillis is out. Cleveland has just three backs on the active roster.

No matter the Browns' starting back on Sunday, establishing the run is a must. The Browns have attempted 226 pass plays (217 passes, nine sacks) and only 122 rushes. Only the Jets and Titans are gaining fewer yards on the ground than Cleveland (81.6 ypg).
