Here is a look at how the Patriots' first-year players performed in the team's Week Six win over the Cowboys.

ORT Nate Solder (first round, 17th overall) — Solder got another start and continues to excel in run blocking. He was flagged for a holding penalty that knocked the Patriots back when they were at the Cowboys' eight-yard line. New England settled for a field goal.

RB Stevan Ridley (3, 73) — Ridley had three carries for 19 yards, including a 16-yard run on the Patriots' first drive. He was the team's featured back on the first drive before BenJarvus Green-Ellis took over.

Notes — CB Ras-I Dowling (2, 33) and QB Ryan Mallet (3, 74) were inactive. ... RB Shane Vereen (2, 56) was active but did not record any stats. He is starting to see more time on offense in practice. ... LB Jeff Tarpinian (undrafted) had a special-teams tackle. ... LS Danny Aiken (undrafted) remained perfect on his snaps.
