The NFL and NFLPA continue to spar over HGH and blood testing. The NFL has said that it could begin collecting blood for HGH testing as early as Monday. The players association responded in a statement saying "absent a collective agreement on several critical issues, blood collection is not ready to be implemented Monday."

Both groups met with Congress last week to discuss HGH testing. They have been negotiating over the issue since the summer.

The players are reluctant to give into blood testing because of issues with safety and accuracy related to the tests.
