Browns CB Joe Haden (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game at Oakland, according to the club. Dimitri Patterson is expected to start in his place.

Haden, who's been one of the AFC's best cornerbacks in 2011, has defended eight passes in four games this season. His absence means Patterson and rookie Buster Skrine figure to play more.

While Haden won't play, the Browns will have C Alex Mack, who had his appendix removed during the club's bye week.

In addition to Haden, TE Jordan Cameron, OL Oniel Cousins, OL John Greco, S Eric Hagg, QB Thaddeus Lewis and WR Carlton Mitchell are inactive for Cleveland.
