Buccaneers WR Mike Williams has dropped a few passes this season and isn't making as many big plays as the team needs him to. Williams acknowledged that this week, telling reporters that he's "playing terrible." He has scored only one touchdown this season after scoring 11 during his outstanding rookie year. It was refreshing to hear a young player step up and hold himself accountable for struggling. However, our sources say his teammates and coaches don't feel he's playing as poorly as he says he is. It's true that Williams hasn't been as sharp as he was last season, but the problems with Tampa Bay's offense are not all on him. He's being double-teamed more than he was last season, and the Bucs need other receivers to step up. The second-year player is on pace for close to the same number of catches he had last season (65), but his yardage numbers are well off the pace he set in 2010.
