Here's a key matchup to watch in Sunday's Bears-Vikings game.

Vikings DEs Jared Allen and Brian Robison vs. Bears OTs J'Marcus Webb and Frank Omiyale

The Vikings must be licking their chops after watching the Lions' defensive ends blow by Webb and Omiyale all night Monday. Jay Cutler was constantly under siege, having to avoid pressure on nearly every play. And it only gets more difficult.

Allen and Robison have combined for 13 sacks this season, the most among teammates in the NFL and more than the entire team total for 22 clubs. Allen is on pace for 27 sacks this season, which would shatter the NFL record of 22½.

Omiyale, in particular, struggled with getting off the ball and handling the speed rush on Monday, which has been Robison's greatest strength this season. Robison has been great at timing the snap count, using his speed to get around the edge and meeting quarterbacks at the top of their dropbacks.

Allen has a major advantage over Webb, who also struggled with the speed rush Monday. While he has mixed in some inside and bull rushes, Allen's greatest strength is the speed rush. Webb couldn't stop Lawrence Jackson's speed rush on Monday, and Allen is significantly better than Jackson.

The Bears will need to max-protect with tight ends and use Matt Forté to chip before entering his pass pattern. Otherwise, if they leave their tackles on an island, Cutler could be running for his life.
