Giants DT Jimmy Kennedy was suspended by the NFL on Tuesday for four games beginning immediately for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances.

Kennedy joined the Giants this offseason after spending the last three seasons with the Vikings. In five games this season, he has four tackles.

Kennedy was a reserve for the Giants' D-line, which has been banged up all season.
